About Us
A website is a set of related web pages served from a single web domain. A website is hosted on at least one web server, accessible via a network such as the Internet or a private local area network through an Internet address known as a URL. All publiclly accessible websites collectively constitute the World Wide Web. They have many functions and can be used in various fashions. Any website can contain a hyperlink to any other website, so the distinction between individual sites, as perceived by the user, can be blurred. Websites are written in, or dynamically converted to, HTML and are accessed using a software interface classified as a user agent. A website is hosted on a computer system known as a web server, also called an HTTP server.
The purpose of this project is to evaluate the website quality of the most important 3 universities from Bucharest. The user can evaluate every website and can see the graphical interpretation of evaluation results. Also, the client can interact with the administrator of the application by sending a suggestion throw the contact zone. In the administration zone it is shown the list of the clients that evaluated the websites and also their suggestions. The administrator can respond to the customers by using the mail() function and also can modify the list of customers and the list of suggestions.
About UPB
The Polytechnic University of Bucharest is one of the most prestigious technical university from Romania. It was founded in 1864 by Gheorghe Lazar and it was renamed Polytechnic School in 1920. Developed in over 190 years through the effort of the most important nation's schoolmasters and of the generations of students, the University Politehnica of Bucharest is the largest and the oldest technical university in the country. At the 29th annual ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, held on April 6, 2005, Politehnica was ranked 10th in the world. The university organizes important conferences such as International Conference on Control Systems and Computer Science and symposiums like Interdisciplinary Approaches in Fractal Analysis.
About UBR
The University of Bucharest is a university founded in 1864 by decree of Prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza to convert the former Saint Sava Academy into the current University of Bucharest. The University also has a publishing house, different research institutes and research groups, master and doctorate programmes, and a number of lifelong learning facilities and programmes. It has partnership agreements with over 50 universities in 40 countries, and participates in European programmes such as Erasmus, Lingua, Naric, Leonardo da Vinci, Unica, Amos, Tempus, Tempra. It is an accredited Cisco Academy, has Microsoft curriculum, and is accredited by Red Hat for its academic programme.
About ASE
The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies is one of the most prestigious economical university from Romania. Founded in 1913, under the Academy of High Commercial and Industrial Studies name, it has become one of the largest higher education institutes in both Romania and South Eastern Europe. Since 2005 however, the University has adopted the Bologna declaration and undergraduate studies are now three year long, followed by 2 year Master programmes. In this format, undergraduate studies finalize with a total of 180 credits, graduate programmes require a completion of 120 credits. The PhD programmes remain with a length of minimum three years.
